Bringing the benefits of fibre broadband
to even more premises

Superfast Cornwall was first set up in 2011. There have been three separate phases of the programme, as the programme has continued to evolve.

The current programme runs from 2018-2020.

Part funded by the EU, this programme aims to upgrade more than 7,600 of the premises in Cornwall which have the slowest broadband speeds.

Certain postcode areas were identified for analysis. Find out more about how these postcode areas have been selected here. The rollout has now completed, with the exception of a very small number of areas that are still underway.

Grants are available for premises not in the current plan – see our alternative solutions page

Phases 1-8 of the current programme were part-funded by the EU’s European Regional Development Fund (EDRF). Phases 9-10 are funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
