Digital Inclusion

Superfast Cornwall is committed to making sure that absolutely everybody in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly gets the chance to benefit from the internet.  People of every age and background stand to benefit from the huge opportunities opened up by the internet and superfast broadband.

Having access to the internet can have many, many benefits - everything from finding the cheapest car insurance to ordering your prescriptions online; from submitting job applications to keeping in touch with friends and relations.

Superfast Cornwall is working with BT's Digital Inclusion programme, Get IT Together, and the UK charity Citizens Online to help make this happen.  We will work with communities and local partners to provide free or low cost computer training for computer novices.  We are also developing a network of volunteers to support community learning, and we will look for new, innovative ways to help support those people who are the hardest to reach.
